Welcome to the first blog from Mr. Fertile Lawn Care about bettering your lawn experience in Prince Georges County, MD and surrounding areas. I invite you on a journey with me in making lawns happy and fertile amongst other things. Each season we offer fertilization, weed controls, aeration & overseeding and more. We also provide care for trees & shrubs, controls for mosquitos, flea & tick and nuisance pests. Residential or commercial, no property is too big to be fertile.

Being in the mid-atlantic, many lawns in Maryland have tall fescue or turf type tall fescue grass. This grass stays mostly green during the winter months and goes dormant during extreme heat and cold. Some lawns have zoysia which shines green during the summer heat and turns brown over winter. Consistency keeps your lawn the way that you want to see it year after year, allowing you to balance mother natures seasonal whoa’s. Caring for each lawn requires attention to more than just grass type. Getting to the root of things each season is a key piece of every lawns annual health.
Sometimes extras are needed to be our best and that is ok. Your lawn, like you, needs water, food, sunlight and the proper upkeep to be its best.
